Will GhostNote appear in my recording?

Not when you share a single app window or browser tab. Entire-display capture records every visible window, GhostNote included.

Can I click through the overlay?

Yes. Lock the panel to turn on click-through, then unlock it from the menu bar or with a shortcut when you need to edit.

How do I install GhostNote?

Open the downloaded DMG, then drag GhostNote into Applications. It runs on macOS 14 or later.

Does GhostNote work offline?

Yes. Writing and prompting never touch the network. Only update checks do.
