Local storage
Scripts are stored in GhostNote’s local app sandbox. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no collaboration. GhostNote runs no analytics, advertising, or telemetry, and never uploads script content.
Permissions
GhostNote does not request Screen Recording, camera, microphone, Accessibility, or Input Monitoring permission. Global shortcuts do not require Accessibility permission.
Network access
Editing and prompting make no network requests. Release builds can check a configured HTTPS appcast for signed software updates.
Diagnostics
GhostNote does not export diagnostics.
